'Apopriation’ is a new series by Zoë Moss. It is a set of oil paintings that appropriates pop artists’ work in the same way they themselves used elements of popular culture in their own practice. The pieces are photorealist oil paintings of such artworks, enclosed in a glass bell jar that both preserves the art and displays it for all to behold. From Koons to Kusama, it highlights the recognisable imagery of todays art market and puts it under the bell jar. 

Zoe Moss captures the collision between contemporary art and natural beauty in this visually arresting piece. A KAWS Companion figure stands silently enclosed under a glass dome, while a brilliantly patterned butterfly rests above. The contrast between the collectible’s blank expression and the butterfly’s vivid detail creates a contemplative take on fame, identity, and aesthetic value.

Items must be returned within 14 working days of being received  
Items must not be visible worn, damaged, or marked in any way what so ever. items must not have any odours, this includes aftershave, deodorant or smoke.  Items must have all relevant tags still attached. When returning shoes they must be inside the box, unworn.
