'Apopriation’ is a new series by Zoë Moss. It is a set of oil paintings that appropriates pop artists’ work in the same way they themselves used elements of popular culture in their own practice. The pieces are photorealist oil paintings of such artworks, enclosed in a glass bell jar that both preserves the art and displays it for all to behold. From Koons to Kusama, it highlights the recognisable imagery of todays art market and puts it under the bell jar. 

Zoe Moss fuses macabre elegance with delicate beauty in this striking still life. A dazzling crystal-encrusted skull sits under a bell jar, catching the light in a nod to luxury and mortality, while a vivid monarch butterfly perches gracefully on the dome’s surface. A reflection on fragility, fame, and the fleeting nature of existence, rendered in Moss’s photorealistic signature style.

Items must be returned within 14 working days of being received  
Items must not be visible worn, damaged, or marked in any way what so ever. items must not have any odours, this includes aftershave, deodorant or smoke.  Items must have all relevant tags still attached. When returning shoes they must be inside the box, unworn.
